Time to switch I guess... but where? Google's lawyers: If you use Gmail you have no expectation of privacy

This is really spooky. I've been a Gmail user for a long long time. I'm using Google Docs to collaborate and I'm using Google Calendar to share my company's agenda. Up until now I wasn't worried as I thought, I'm no big fish, who cares about my email, nobody would really spy on me, right?

However, recent push of Google , NSA spying controversy and now the flat-out statement from Google's lawyers about assuming if I'm using Gmail I gave up my privacy already creeps me out.

I'm thinking of switching services... but where to? Use old-school IMAP? What to use for spam/virus filtering? Any good open-source or commercial webmail for local server? What do you think?
